FormaTransfer

Copy your Autodesk Forma project data into SharePoint or Google Drive, and keep it up to date.

FormaTransfer is a project-data tool from 3DTech Parametric Sdn. Bhd. for construction and design teams. It reads project content from Autodesk Forma (Autodesk Construction Cloud) and writes it, with its folder structure, registers and summaries, into a document library your organization already uses: Microsoft SharePoint or Google Drive.

What FormaTransfer does

Project files. Copies files and folders from a Forma project into a destination folder you pick.
RFIs, Submittals and Forms. Exports each record with its attachments, a readable summary (HTML and PDF) and a register (CSV and JSON).
Updates. Scans for changes, shows you a plan, and only writes the updates you approve. Imports can run once or on a schedule you authorize.
Summary emails. Optionally emails recipients you choose when an import finishes.

How FormaTransfer uses your Google account

Google Drive is optional. FormaTransfer only connects to Google when you choose Google Drive as a destination and sign in. It asks for these permissions:

FormaTransfer does not delete files in your Drive.
Your email address `openid`, `email`	To show which Google account is connected, so you can confirm data is going to the right place and switch accounts.

FormaTransfer works only inside the folders you select. It does not read the contents of your other Drive files, does not share your files with anyone, and does not use Google data for advertising or to train AI models. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

How it works

Sign in to Autodesk Forma and choose a project.
Choose a destination: a SharePoint library or a Google Drive folder. For Google Drive, sign in with Google and pick the folder.
Select the content (Files, RFIs, Submittals, Forms) and choose Import once or Keep updated.
FormaTransfer copies the data, verifies each upload, and records the result.

Where it runs

FormaTransfer is installed and run by your organization on its own computer or server. Sign-in tokens and transfer records stay on that installation, encrypted at rest. Your project data moves directly between Autodesk, your installation and your chosen destination; it is not sent to servers operated by 3DTech.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect Google Drive inside FormaTransfer at any time, or remove access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Files already exported to your Drive stay yours.
