FormaTransferTerms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FormaTransfer (“the App”), provided by 3DTech Parametric Sdn. Bhd. (“3DTech”, “we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you use the App for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. If you have a separate signed agreement with 3DTech, that agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with these Terms.
1. The service
The App copies project data from Autodesk Forma to a Microsoft SharePoint or Google Drive destination you select, and can keep that destination updated. Features may change as the App is improved.
2. Your accounts and permissions
- You need your own valid accounts with Autodesk, and with Microsoft or Google for the destination you use. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms.
- You must only connect accounts and copy data you are authorized to access and copy.
- You are responsible for keeping your installation, its configuration and its sign-ins secure.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App to break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- use the App to access data you are not permitted to access;
- interfere with, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the App or any connected service;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App except as allowed by law or written agreement with 3DTech.
4. Your data
You keep all rights to your project data and to the files the App creates in your destination. You grant 3DTech no rights to that data. How the App handles data, including Google user data, is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party services
The App depends on Autodesk Platform Services, Google Drive APIs and Microsoft Graph. We are not responsible for outages, changes or limits of those services. FormaTransfer is not affiliated with or endorsed by Autodesk, Google or Microsoft.
6. Backups and verification
The App verifies uploads and asks for your approval before applying updates, but you remain responsible for reviewing results and keeping appropriate backups of important data.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its code, design and name are owned by 3DTech and protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App while you comply with them.
8. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or error-free transfers.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, 3DTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the App at any time by disconnecting your accounts and uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9 and 12 continue after termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Malaysia.
